Censorship in Prison

The Texas prison system has denied Donna Kay Tucker access to any TDC units because they say that she is a "security risk." She has been fighting the appeals with Warden Stacks at the Eastham unit since last August. Now, she has to wait another 6 months to appeal again. "I sure hate that I am not able to visit my guys in Polunsky." [Polunsky is Texas' death row unit.] Warden Stacks finally returned her phone calls that she made weekly since last May. He is completely intransigent. She feels that these people are terrible.

Warden Stacks is at the Eastham Unit in Lovelady, Texas. That mailing address is P. O. Box 16, Lovelady, TX 75851-0016. Of course, Warden Zeller at Polunsky sent me the two letters from Death Row.

Please write your dismay at this disgusting display of arrogance. Mrs. Tucker is no security risk whatsoever. As a Texan, she brings encouragement to the death row prisoners.
