America's Concerns

Ending Social Security

On page A04 of the Sunday, November 17, 2002 edition of the Washington Post, it published an article in which it stated that plans are being attempted to end Social Security stating, "Corporate america would love to see S.S. become a thing of the past."

We cannot allow this to happen. Individuals have paid into this system, and the Congress ought to pay into it too. Indeed, there have been many people who admonish that Congress does not pay into Social Security, instead they receive a tremendous amount of money when they retire from the Congress.

If you are an American and you want this system to remain, please contact your US Congressman/woman and tell them so.
