I began writing this as a reply to a message on a 911 internet newsgroup but decided to put it up on my website because I’m criticizing some past stuff I’ve written on it. Just goes to show that nobody is immune from my criticism, including me. I’ll also, funnily enough, be criticizing some stuff I’ve written below here too. But first, some background (which will also be called out as being incomplete).
Background
L.I.H.O.P.: is the limited 911 hangout that the gov't, etc., merely LET the September 11th attacks Happen On Purpose - rather than M.I.H.O.P.: MADE It Happen on Purpose. I have argued strenuously that LIHOP is a lie and only MIHOP will destroy the war on terror myth. Remember, 911 is all about us being the terrorists, not foreigners. Only we could have demolished the towers, for example. When people learn that we were the terrorists, the rationale for a war on terror crumbles, but not so with LIHOP. Even if the gov't, etc., were found guilty through a LIHOP theory of exploiting the fact that foreign terrorists wanted to harm us, there would still exist the justification for a war on terror, because there would still be foreign others out to get us whom **we do not create/control or sustain.

911Truth.Org Lines/Lies
And now to that 911 internet newsgroup discussion:
But I'm still wondering, who is still Lihop nowadays? taking a look at 911truth.org, a site which places a premium on mainstream political correctness and not being labeled as madmen because of theories like pods there is a headline there "The top 15 reasons to doubt the official story of September 11, 2001" #15 opens with: The symmetrical demolition-like collapse of the 47-story WTC building without any major fires or damage (also pronounced inexplicable by the FEMA [Federal Emergency Management Agency] investigation team). So it doesn't seem like anybody who is anybody is still LIHOP
Actually, there's PLENTY at 911truth.org that is STILL LIHOP (including their mission statement). Back when 911truth.org had a 9/11 "NEGLIGENCE" line (that 9/11 involved mistakes/failures) all over it, my criticism of them for that was, I see now, wrongly compromised & weak because I argued that they should drop "negligence" altogether and substitute it with at the very least an either/or LIHOP/MIHOP strategy, (see http://mysite.verizon.net/vze25x9n/id7.html ), which is what they appear to be doing now for the most part. They appear to have removed the most limited hangout of that time, 'negligence', and although still including that in their webpage's "9/11 Reading Room," they're now giving a mostly LIHOP line, and sometimes a MIHOP one with David Ray Griffin stories.
I should never have suggested that such a compromise on the truth was acceptable. By their having the most ridiculously absurd negligence line at the time (and there's still some of that there now too, as contained in their webpage’s introduction-less & qualification-less "9/11 Reading Room"), a switch to a LIHOP/MIHOP 'either or' line sounded like a victory to shoot for back then even while I stated that 9/11 was not mere "complicity," i.e., not LIHOP.
Since only MIHOP is accurate and doesn't reinforce the official un-sustained outside terrorist story, MIHOP is what newbies should be introduced to. We're almost at year 4, and there's plenty of evidence for MIHOP. No more compromises which really subvert the truth. 911truth.org should not receive our support and we shouldn’t pass on their site to newbies until they remove the Negligence and the LIHOP lines. One thing I did have correct in that article was: “A portal can be a great thing or it can be a very dangerous thing" and 911truth.org is so replete with LIHOP (and negligence still in their reading room), that it must undergo extensive renovations before any of us should link to it as a 9/11 portal of truth. With Griffin so prominently on the scene arguing, with their support & promotion, that there is a prima facie case of MIHOP, what can be their excuse for continued LIHOP and negligence other than time constraints to make the necessary website revisions?
As a participant in this 911 internet newsgroup noted:
"Perhaps a fellow group member can suggest one, but to my knowledge there exists not one large 9/11 Truth "Supergroup" in widescale operation without the infiltration of those being paid to distribute disinfo, distractions, and diversions.”
911truth.org’s goal from the start has been to be a supergroup, but they’ll never qualify for that role as long as they continue to present negligence and LIHOP lines at their website and in their programs. Must be MIHOP all the time, not accompanied by official-story-supporting LIHOP & negligence lines.
But LIHOP/MIHOP As Distraction (“BUSH-MIHOP” is Limited Hangout Too)
But before I attempt to demonstrate that what I say about 911truth.org is true, let me tell you that I’m again falling into a trap and I’m in over my head, because even MIHOP isn’t the end all and be all. The whole MIHOP/LIHOP debate is most likely a distraction itself. It’s always obviously been MIHOP, that’s not the real question. The real question is MIHOP by WHO and WHY. The David Ray Griffin kind of MIHOP, what I’ll call “Bush-MIHOP,” for example, points only to members of the current US presidential administration as being the perps and this is not only factually incorrect (think just for example that Bush was in office only 6 months prior to 9/11 and 9/11 took much longer planning, and also of Oklahoma & WTC ’93, both under Clinton, etc.), it also doesn’t acknowledge the fiction of nation states, that it is the global elite who are truly in control, having countries and their figureheads (of varying qualities) playing various roles.
So, what I think we should be doing is speculating and examining an “Elite-MIHOP” agenda. Here’s a participant of the 911 internet newsgroup doing just that, the order out of chaos theory:
“If 9/11 is not exposed as an inside job by the globalists against America....consider it game over....Because what I fear is that they will say "EVIL AMERICANS carried out attacks on themselves for wars of empire, and Global government must keep us safe from such loonies. That's why I think the Neocon/Nazis are being setup for a fall. We must strike the root cause of 9/11, the inbred Satanist globalist bankers want world government.”
See also ‘Creepy Sides of the 911 Truth Movement’ at http://mysite.verizon.net/vze25x9n/id24.html for similar speculation, and I’d be very interested in others’ “ELITE-MIHOP” speculation, similar or not, as to what were/are the goals of the powers-that-be (who have no country, religion, political party of allegiance) with respect to the 9/11 attacks. This request is addressed to those who believe Bush administrative heads are only flunkies following orders from above, and is made in spite of my poor track record of timely responding to emails.
Hopefully better & more well read minds than mine can demonstrate why a Bush-MIHOP line is just really another distraction from the real perps & the crimes in their proper perspective, and that my criticism of 911truth.org is once again weak and compromised.
Again, the Bush Administration isn't the true culprit of 9/11. They were just following orders, as Clinton did, as Gore or Kerry would have done while accepting the carrots - oil, war profiteering, whatever, etc. offered to them. Carrots and sticks can always be tailored for any particular administration. The Bush Administration were just the foot soldiers of the 9/11 moment, with new foot soldiers always waiting in the wings.
Editor's note: An argument can be made for this previous paragraph's statement, but what we have much more recently learned is that Bush is an Ashkenazy Jew, so he and Cheney too, by virtue of the fact that he is related to George W. Bush, is more than likely an Ashkenazy Jew too. According to the Talmud, "even the best Christian must be killed."
Is the current European truth tour of Jimmy Walters [who funded the infamous Zogby LIHOP poll and who has done some disastrous television interviews in the U.S., like Showtime’s “Penn & Teller’s Bullshit” show to be repeated on June 4th – scroll down to the 3rd post at: http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2005/05/317784.shtml entitled “Meetups Not Bogus/& Re: Jimmy Walters”], laying all evil at the foot of the Bush administration? For anything to change, we must all look deeper, past the foot soldiers.
9/11Truth.Org & LIHOP, With a Sibel Edmonds Update
Back to what I can handle, an easier straw man to rail at, here are several examples of LIHOP that anyone perusing 911truth.org’s website is likely to come across, grouped A) through E). I didn’t do an exhaustive examination of their website. I just mention below what quickly caught my eye, and thus what may catch the eye of others.
A) From one of 911truth.org’s most prominent links is an important sounding article entitled: "The 9/11 Key" (linked at top left of page) (http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20050204100025495 ), which notes that:
"There is now an enormous amount of scholarly evidence and expert testimony that a) clearly demonstrates the official 9/11 story is a sham, and b) supports the millions of New Yorkers who, according to a recent Zogby poll, believe that top US officials "consciously" allowed the attacks to happen and that we desperately need a new investigation now."
One would think that an article entitled “The 9/11 Key” would indicate to its readers that 9/11 was an inside job, that the 9/11 attacks were manufactured, rather than the attacks merely having being exploited or allowed to happen, but it does not. The “key” does not contain the key.
B) The very first 3 articles in 911truth.org’s "9/11 Reading Room" are all, you guessed it, LIHOP:( http://www.911truth.org/readingroom/index.html ).
Actually, I take that back, they all appear to be 9/11 “negligence,” but you get the point. Here are excerpts of same:
1) What We Don't Know About 9/11 Hurts Us
LA Times, Robert Scheer February 15, 2005 - Would George W. Bush have been reelected president if the public understood how much responsibility his administration bears for allowing the 9/11 attacks to succeed? The answer is unknowable and, at this date, moot. Yet it was appalling to learn last week that the White House suppressed until after the election a damning report that exposes the administration as woefully incompetent if not criminally negligent.
2) US aviation received 52 al-Qaeda warnings before 9/11 Times Online (UK) - Jenny Booth February 11, 2005 - America's aviation authority received numerous warnings about al-Qaeda attacks in the six months before 9/11, including five that mentioned hijackings and two that mentioned suicide operations, it has emerged.
3) Critics Want Full Report of 9/11 Panel - New York Times - Eric Lichtblau - February 11, 2005 In the months before the September 11 attacks, federal aviation officials reviewed dozens of intelligence reports that warned about Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda, some of which specifically discussed airline hijackings and suicide operations, according to a previously undisclosed report from the 9/11 commission.
Actually, all the articles in 911truth.org’s “9/11 Reading Room” - which bears no introduction or qualification - appear to be either negligence or LIHOP, but I won't spend the time looking more closely. Do you want to steer a 9/11 newbie to 911truth.org’s “911 reading room”? I know I don’t.
C) Sibel: From 911truth.org’s "breaking news and ongoing stories of special import" link is Sibel Edmonds’ May 14th article. And to the right of that, a ton of Sibel links.

Sibel, however, is not even LIHOP for 9/11, guys. Sibel is only about warning us of a future (post-9/11) LIHOP, and even that not explicitly, just by implication. Her hints consist of pointing fingers at unnamed corrupt gov't officials, whom, she hints may, because of their on-going ties to foreign business interests, could assist and/or cover for and/or protect and/or turn a blind eye from these foreign others who might attack us in the future. Thus, she REINFORCES the official story. Far from being a story of “special import”, it’s a story that 9/11 truthers should avoid, together with the stories of other so-called FBI “whistleblowers” who tell us they were trying to protect us from the foreign hijackers, etc., that we were warned about.
Here below are just some very recent examples, all of which add up to Sibel's “pre-LIHOPing” (warning us of a future LIHOP event):
In her May 2005 article entitled "Gagged, but not dead", which 911truth.org links to in its "breaking news and ongoing stories of special import" link, Sibel concludes that:
"In fact, the American people, their national safety and security, and their best interests are being sacrificed for a handful of those with their foreign business interest. " (The italics are her own, see it on her own webpage at: http://www.justacitizen.org/articles_documents/May14-05-Gagged%20but%20not%20Dead.htm )
In Sibel's March 2005 statement before the “House Committee on Government Reform, Subcommittee on National Security, Emerging Threats and Internal Relations,” Sibel wrote:
"The problems I have reported have serious consequences to our national security; and have already been confirmed by the Inspector General's report and the inquiry of Senators Grassley and Leahy. Translation units are the frontline in gathering, translating, and disseminating intelligence. A warning in advance of the next terrorist attack may, and probably will, come in the form of a message or document in a foreign language that will have to be translated. If an attack then occurs, which could have been prevented by acting on information in such a message, who will tell family members of the new terrorist attack victims that nothing more could have been done? There will be no excuse that we did not know, because we do know."

And more telling excerpts from an interview given in the last 2 weeks, "SE" being Sibel Edmonds’ initials, CD is the interviewer:
CD: In your October 25 2002 interview with 60 Minutes, "Lost in Translation," http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/10/25/60minutes/main526954.shtml you charged the FBI with incompetence and greed - and also of allowing infiltration by foreign intelligence outfits. . .
CD: From your previous testimony and the examples I want to bring up next, it would seem that organized crime with terrorist links is really holding the reins inside powerful governments, even the American one. No?
SE: That may be, but I don't know. I didn't get high enough up on the ladder to find out. With all of this suspicious and unprecedented "state secrets" obstructionism from Ashcroft, it might seem that way, but I don't have any direct information.
SE: I'm no expert, but from what I have personally seen I can say that our national security is being compromised every day, because important investigations are being stopped, and potentially important clues are being overlooked. It's absolutely incredible that even after 9/11, certain individuals, foreign businessmen and others, among others, are still escaping scrutiny.
*And from Sibel again:
SE: Okay, perhaps talking about the pre-9/11 world they could get away with saying "we didn't know," but to continue doing so - I mean, what if we are attacked by nuclear or chemical weapons, what will be their next excuse? That "we didn't know" it could happen? Come on! I can prove they are lying, because they know. (emphasis supplied). http://antiwar.com/news/interview.html
Also see: 911 Truth Movement Mistake: the Sibel Edmonds story - DROP IT LIKE A HOT POTATO at http://mysite.verizon.net/vze25x9n/id4.html from last year. It's still relevant because nothing has changed. Sibel hasn't. And her story must be dropped by those who claim to be in the 911 Truth Movement! She's not a 9/11 hero although 911truth.org is still keeping this myth alive. (Oh, and re: Sibel, also see http://www.questionsquestions.net/docs04/ellsberg.html ).
D) And, of course, the 911truth.org's "9/11 Truth Statement" is LIHOP too:

“which calls for immediate public attention to unanswered questions that suggest that people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen.”
E) But the nail in the coffin demonstrating that 911truth.org is still giving out the LIHOP line comes in their own LIHOP explicit words, under this heading:
"The 911Truth.org Mission: Where we are going with this and where we are not" (at
http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20050204132153814 ).
This is what appears underneath that heading and what will be read by 9/11 Newbies who click on their webpage's "Navigation for 9/11 Newbies" link:
"911truth.org as an organization generally believes that our chance for justice is now best served by focusing on the following five points:
* The frequently warned of 9/11 attacks handed a lackluster presidency irresistible political power to increase inequality, repression, corporate domination, and imperial warfare (and even boost its electoral clout);
* Since this administration benefited so mightily from these crimes, a reasonable person (or investigation) might find it prudent to at least question its possible complicity. Even the minimalist LIHOP (Let It Happen On Purpose) complicity scenario constitutes high treason--i.e., the supposition that high officials knew a blowback attack was coming, understood the incredible poltical power it might confer, and preemptively disabled the few working parts of government that might have been able to thwart its success (by ignoring foreign warnings, quashing domestic investigations, cancelling Counterterrorism Task Force meetings, rewriting air emergency response protocols, staging distracting aerial war games, etc.)
* There is now more than enough compelling evidence of just such official misconduct, foul play, perjury and obstruction of justice to constitute probable cause for a full criminal investigation of all 9/11 events. . .”
Conclusion
IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO BE CONFUSED, IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO START OUT WITH AN INCORRECT and OFFICIAL-STORY-SUPPORTING 9/11 THEORY (LIHOP), then give them the link to 911truth.org or put it on your flyers, in your cd's, etc. If you don't want to confuse, take the link off your flyers, and other 911 introductory materials.
Please also let us examine how the suggested LIHOP replacement, Bush-MIHOP, is a limited hangout as well and what we can do about that.

Editor's note: The only reason I am publishing this article is to show that 911truth.org was probably created to disseminate disinformation in a deliberate attempt to continue to fool people. I can say this with a great deal of authenticity because the man with whom I was married when 9/11 was carried out, wrote the same kinds of words, i.e. that the United States had it coming because of all the nasty things that it has been doing around the world since the end of WW II. I knew it was nonsense then, and know it even more now. 9/11 was an inside job. Within the pages of this publication, we have proved it over and over.
