People may not be ready to hear it yet...that's always a possibility. And it is well set up, Arlene, you know that. It has been dealt with in fiction and TV series and is entertainment to the public. Students get it...but again, doing something is the difficult and dangerous part. If they get it...they know that. It is risky, but wherever there is a force, there is also a counter force... laws of the universe.

I just got done printing up my copy of TRUE DEMOCRACY. It is a massive effort. There is a lot of material to go through. You did a lot of good work.
You are correct in saying that it did not matter, if Al Gore had been elected, because the deceit would continue, no matter which administration took off. These people do not seem to know how to do anything but decieve the American public, and the public should be aware of this. Part of the problem is that the public just does not want to be bothered, or just does not want to believe, because they would have to be bothered to bother, and also, partly because the mainstream media, and others, encourage the public to believe the mainstream media and its backers, which makes it easier to accept the deceit because of who it comes from. Dissenters are portrayed as radicals, and radicals are portrayed as anarchists and terrorists, no matter that their views are, no matter the actions of the governments, no matter what.
There exists, in the world, too many who are critical of those "...trying to "give a child an unbiased viewpoint instead of teaching him real Americanism. All the old histories taught my country right or wrong. That's the point of view we want our children to adopt. We can't afford to teach them to be unbiased and let them make up their own minds." (Mrs. Elwood Truner delcared of a teacher named Rugg, in HISTORY ON TRIAL, p.45). This statement reminds of Jesse Helms and his type of patriotism. Yes, the text books, purchased by public school system, are a bit deceitful, slanted, bias, and neglectful of much of the truth of American history and perpetuate a lot of myths. There is book, another one, LIES ACROSS AMERICA: What Our Historic Sites Get Wrong, by James W. Loewen, published late 1999. It goes with a lot of the myths held onto by certain patriots, who ingnore and bury a lot of real history, because it flies in the face of their myths.
I will see what I can do about contacting the local acquisitions librarians. Together in Peace,

I applaud you and your publication "true democracy" and wish you nothing
but success at exposing and uncovering the "truth" that the mainstream media
is unwilling or unable to bring to light.

Thanks for your e-mail and your efforts to bring true democracy to the
world. We will check out your site this week. We really appreciate your concern about how U.S. policy is affecting (destroying) the rights of people
everywhere. We look forward to keeping in touch with you. Hope this finds you well.
